Ingredients:

  • Lard…3 tablespoons
  • Sugar…1 cup for coffee
  • Eggs…3 pieces
  • Apricot jam…3 tablespoons (plum jam can also be used)
  • Milk…1 and 1/2 cups for coffee
  • Flour…3 cups for coffee
  • Baking powder…1 sachet
  • Powdered sugar mixed with 1 sachet of vanilla sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions:

  • In a deep bowl, pour the lard and beat it with a mixer until creamy.
  • Add the sugar and continue beating.
  • Then add the eggs to the mixture and beat everything together with the mixer.
  • Add the jam, stir, and then add the necessary amount of milk and flour mixed with baking powder.
  • Beat everything well with the mixer.
  • Pour the prepared mixture into a baking dish lined with baking paper.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about half an hour.
  • When the cake turns golden brown, remove it from the hot oven and let it cool.
  • When it has cooled down, sprinkle powdered sugar mixed with vanilla sugar over it, cut it into squares, and enjoy the aroma and taste of childhood.
